Mami Hara leads the US Water Alliance, a membership based non-profit driving systemic change in water policy and practice. As CEO of Seattle Public Utilities, she oversaw multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and climate resilience initiatives setting national standards. Previously, as First Deputy Commissioner of Philadelphia Water, she championed Green Cities, Clean Waters, a pioneering green infrastructure program that became a national model. As an urban planner and designer, Mami designed equity-centered infrastructure projects across the eastern US. She builds cross-sector partnerships, develops emerging leaders, and has taught at MIT, PennDesign, and Temple. Education: University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University.
