Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Ariel developed a love for plants and the outdoors at a young age helping her parents in their garden. She completed her Landscape Architecture degree from Penn State University in 2013 and practiced as a landscape designer in San Francisco and New York City. Finding herself wanting to be onsite and in the dirt more and more, she switched careers in 2018 towards ecological horticulture. She is now the managing gardener at the Central Park's Davis Center utilizing her skills in both design and horticulture to manage and maintain 5 acres of native plantings.
