Community engagement often stalls between input and implementation. This session offers a practical framework to diagnose where projects break down and apply targeted methods that move from voice to evidence, decision, and stewardship. Leave with tools you can use immediately to work with your community.

Learning Outcomes:

Diagnose where engagement is breaking down (input, translation, decision-making, implementation, or stewardship) and match methods to project constraints.
Convert community knowledge into decision-ready briefs that can directly influence design choices.
Apply trauma-informed scope and process tools (roles, decision points, review loops, handoffs) to reduce harm and improve implementation.
Create a follow-through plan with structured stewardship so work continues after one meeting and momentum is sustained.
