Health

To minimize the spread of COVID – 19 infections, and as recommended by the CDC, ASLA staff, our contractors, and the staff at the Moscone Center will wear masks while inside the convention center and during food and beverage events at the Marriott Marquis. ASLA strongly urges attendees and exhibitors to help minimize the spread of infection by wearing a mask inside the Moscone Center and events at the Marriott Marquis. Our goal is to have a successful and enjoyable in-person conference and minimize the spread of COVID – 19 and its variants.

Safety

As is the case with any major city, ASLA advises attendees to exercise common sense and take some basic precautions while walking outdoors through San Francisco’s streets. As such, attendees should:

  • Avoid wearing conference badges when outside of the Moscone Center and Marriott Marquis.
  • Avoid wearing expensive jewelry, including watches, while outdoors and minimize visibility of any jewelry.
  • Keep phones out of sight while outdoors.

Self Care and Comfort

Don’t forget to bring a sweater or Jacket.  Like most people in public spaces you want to be prepared for the temperatures of meeting rooms and gathering spaces.  You just never know, it’s always a good idea to bring a jacket or cardigan.  For some it is better to be too hot than too cold.
