David McNeill is the Executive Officer of the Baldwin Hills and Urban Watersheds Conservancy, operating under the State's Natural Resources Agency. He oversees the long-term conservation of open space and creation of parkland within approximately 70-square miles of Southwest Los Angeles County.
With over 25 years of real estate, public outreach, and administration experience, he has helped re-imagine LA's urban outdoor landscape. Since 2001, he has led a wide range of land acquisition, planning and design efforts culminating in the creation of community-based parks, regional recreation facilities, and miles of trails for the most densely populated neighborhoods in the State.
