Lila is a conservation leadership professional with over 20 years of experience working at various museums, nature centers, and governmental agencies. They grew up in the U.K. where they had lots of time for unsupervised play in nature. Lila's love for wildlife grew out of this time, and led them to pursue degrees in Entomology and Environmental Education. Before joining CNPS, they spent 17 years at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County working on strategic initiatives including the Nature Gardens & Nature Lab exhibits, growing the Community Science program, and founding the global City Nature Challenge campaign.
