Brenna Castro Carlson is a Senior Associate and Landscape Architect at Atlas Lab, a landscape architecture, public art and urban design
studio. Brenna’s work focuses on sustainable, resilient design that is optimistic and pragmatic, grounded in the principles of urban ecology and fueled by curiosity about plant communities and ecosystems. She received the ASLA Student Honor Award for Ground Up Journal Issue 08 and the ‘Excellence in Landscape Design Award’ at UC Berkeley for an innovative research project that explored ecosystem connectivity in cities, climate change, and the interrelationships between plants, animals, and humans.
