Mia Lehrer, FASLA, is an internationally-recognized landscape architect, founder, and president of Studio-MLA, a landscape architecture and urban design practice based in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Her work is grounded in ecological systems and advances resilient, just relationships between communities and nature. She has led major public and private projects including SoFi Stadium, Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, the LA County Natural History Museum, and dozens of urban waterway projects. She received a Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian National Design Award and served on the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Commission and President Obama's U.S. Fine Arts Commission.
