Alma DuSolier, studio director and partner at Hood Design Studio, bridges environmental planning and landscape design. She earned a BArch from ITESM Monterrey and refined her landscape approach under Walter Hood at UC Berkeley. As an early member of the firm, she contributed to projects such as the deYoung Museum, helping elevate its cultural presence. After work in projects around the globe, she returned to Hood Design and has taught design studios at UC Berkeley for more than 15 years. With nearly 30 years of experience, she leads complex projects and served as Landscape Architecture Foundation President (2024–2025).
