Alexander Robinson is a landscape architect, researcher, and scholar. His work seeks to reinvent our most consequential anthropogenic landscapes through collective authorship, multidisciplinary tools, and community engagement. As an Associate Professor in the Landscape Architecture + Urbanism program at USC, he explores how infrastructure is landscape and applies innovative methods to enhance their ecological and community value. He is a founder the Integrated Infrastructure Design Lab and the LA River Observatory and is active in TEST PLOT. He authored the Spoils of Dust: Reinventing the Lake that Made Los Angeles and is a fellow of the American Academy in Rome,
