The Southern California Chapter of ASLA is thrilled to keep the energy alive with this year’s Women in Landscape Architecture Walk in Los Angeles. This is sure to be a dynamic, can’t-miss experience weaving through South Park and the Financial District of downtown Los Angeles. This roughly 2.5 mile round trip starts at the Southern California Chapter Host Booth and follows Figueroa up to the Bunker Hills steps before looping back to our starting point. We will point out a mix of new and historic buildings and plazas, give you an idea of what it is like to work in Los Angeles, and share some fun facts about our hometown.
As many of you know, this is more than a walk. It is a chance to move, connect, and learn. Along the way you will enjoy a complimentary morning pick-me-up courtesy of USA Shade. Our walk leaders’ narration will let you soak in the rich history of downtown and Southern California. Whether you come with friends or arrive solo, expect great conversations, fresh perspectives, and maybe even a few new connections. Lace up, show up, and be part of the momentum!
The event is free and open to all registered conference attendees.
Participants will meet at the Southern California Chapter Host Booth. The walk will end back at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
