Ian believes that landscapes should bring people together. From planning to built landscapes, his projects are full of purpose and continually build on principles of inclusivity, empathy, and context. Ian's projects and research have been recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects, Boston Society of Landscape Architects and the Society for College and University Planning. Ian also serves on the Board of Directors at the Friends of Fairsted, stewarding the Frederick Law Olmtsed NHS and promoting the Olmsted Firm's legacy. He holds an MLA from Kansas State University.
