Clark P. Stevens, Architect is a conservationist and architect for culturally and ecologically critical places. He served from 2010-2023 as Executive Officer of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains (RCDSMM) and is currently its Director of Resource Design in addition to Principal/Founder of New West Land Company. His leads integrated resource design teams and projects at multiple scales and types, including Wildfire Resilience/Defensible Space, Eco-regional Design, and terrestrial/aquatic Wildlife Passage projects (Liberty Canyon over/under crossings and Newhall Pass Viaduct) He is Architect and collaborating garden designer of the LA County Defensible Space Demonstration Project.
