Kara Holekamp is a landscape architect from Texas with a background in geography and urban studies. She studied both her undergraduate and Masters of Landscape Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin. She started her career working with design + build offices in Austin, then moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a lead designer for Marmol Radziner. At Terremoto, she has led several projects that have been featured in Sunset Magazine and Gardenista, as well as books published by Rizzoli and Artisan. Her passion is creating ecologically minded gardens that connect people through artful interventions.
