Cultural Projects Consultant with 30 years’ experience in planning, architecture, public art, and historic preservation, serving three NYC mayors where she provided comprehensive oversight of all capital construction projects specific to cultural landmarks and museums. She was a leading advocate for the protection of a 17th century African Burial Ground rediscovered during an office building construction. Today she collaborates on community/civic-based preservation efforts, building advocacy for cultural heritage in marginalized communities in the US and abroad. Recently she worked in the British Overseas Territory of St. Helena on 'the largest burial ground of enslaved Africans direct from the Middle Passage.'
