Todd Gartner is Director of Cities4Forests and Natural Infrastructure at the World Resources Institute (WRI). He supports 90+ global cities to invest in the restoration of nature as resilient infrastructure solutions. Todd specializes in policy development and deploying financing to reduce wildfires, enhance water security, and protect nature. He co-developed the Forest Resilience Bond, driving $30M of private capital to reduce wildfires, facilitated the first certified green bond to protect watersheds ($31M+), and supported the World Bank to unlock $2 billion for integrated green-gray infrastructure. Todd has a Master of Forestry from Yale and a B.S. in finance from Maryland.
