Liz is a public access planner and designer with over 15 years of experience working in nonprofit and private practice throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work focuses on regional trail and conservation planning, and trail design and construction. She is passionate about balancing conservation goals with public access through meaningful stakeholder engagement, and context-sensitive design and construction.
Recent San Francisco Bay Trail projects include: 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, Design Guidelines and Toolkit 2.0, and Gap Closure Implementation Plan. Current work includes: Point Reyes National Seashore Trail Plan and California Coastal Trail projects in Monterey, San Mateo, and Sonoma counties.
