Rashid Poulson is Director of Horticulture at Brooklyn Bridge Park Corporation (BBP). He is a 2009 Million Trees Training Program alumni, where he practiced arboriculture, urban landscape design, and ecological restoration. Starting as a Seasonal Gardener at BBP in 2012, he elevated through the positions of Gardener, Supervisor and Deputy Director. Through experience, he gained a deep understanding of the necessities to care for the park’s gardens. His current role focuses on the management and development of the Horticulture Staff; and structuring a path towards a shared visions for BBP's landscapes to develop into functional ecosystems within the urban environment.
