David Lefcourt has served as the City Arborist and Tree Warden for the City of Cambridge, MA for over 18 years, helping manage over 23,000 public trees. He earned a BS in Environmental Horticulture from the University of New Hampshire and began his municipal forestry career in Wellesley, MA, later deepening his passion for urban forestry while working in Washington, D.C. for the Urban Forestry Administration. David is the president of UCFS and education chair for the MA Tree Wardens and Foresters Association (MTWFA). He is a past president of SMA/UCFS, MTWFA, and the New England ISA Chapter.
