Scott Rice, ASLA, is a Managing Partner of RHA Community Works, a 20-person landscape architecture firm based in Southern California. Scott transitioned from employee to company ownership through a succession plan. Scott has capitalized on his combined skills as a specialist in park planning and accessibility to assist the City of Los Angeles in access preparations for major upcoming events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics. He currently co-chairs the ASLA Conference Host Chapter Committee. When not working or volunteering, Scott enjoys spending time in parks and outdoor spaces with his wife and five children.
