Clark P. Stevens, Architect is a conservationist and architect for culturally and ecologically critical places. He served from 2010-2023 as Executive Officer of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains (RCDSMM) and is currently its Director of Resource Design in addition to Principal/Founder of New West Land Company. Clark leads integrated resource design teams and projects at multiple scales, including Wildfire Resilience/Defensible Space, Eco-regional Design, and terrestrial/aquatic Wildlife Passage projects (Liberty Canyon over/under crossings and Newhall Pass Viaduct). He is Project Director for the South LA County Nature Connectivity Plan, and architect of the Defensible Space Demonstration Project.
