Mark is a landscape designer and gardener from Toledo, Ohio. He is a recent alum of the Landscape Architecture + Urbanism program at USC School of Architecture. Mark’s graduate thesis centered on an AIDS memorial within an urban wilderness park, as he is deeply interested in landscapes serving as living memorials. He was awarded a fellowship to study Berlin’s queer public space in 2023, volunteered as an archivist at ONE Archives, and is a 2025 Olmsted Scholar. He works at EPTDESIGN in Pasadena, sells native plants at Plant Material, and leads the Los Angeles-based research collective Queer Terrain.
