Adam Schwerner is Director of Horticulture and Resort Enhancement for the Disneyland Resort, leading a multidisciplinary team of artisans and specialists including horticulturalists, arborists, carpenters, painters, and designers. Prior to Disney, he directed the Chicago Park District’s Department of Cultural and Natural Resources, overseeing landscape operations across 9,300 acres and elevating its major conservatories to international recognition. He previously spent 12 years at the New York Botanical Garden and has served on the board of the American Public Gardens Association. Adam holds a degree in ornamental horticulture from Rutgers University and an MBA from Chapman University.
