For the past five years I have by running a woman-owned small business, Silvernail Studio for Geodesign, providing geographically smart design to engage communities with maps, stories, and sustainable design. As an accomplished landscape practitioner and scholar with expertise in landscape ecology and GIS, I had previously devoted 25 years to being a professor of landscape architecture at two universities. Today my practice at Silvernail empowers leading design firms with dynamic, interactive mapping tools that seamlessly blend community engagement with spatial insights to drive smarter, strategic decisions. I am a SITES® AP and actively serve on the WI ASLA board.
