Brett Merriam is a project manager and urban strategist at Gehl, where he weaves together expertise in ethnography, planning, and design. His experience spans disciplines and scales from global strategies for equitable community development to site-specific urban transformations. Recently, Brett has worked with the City of Pensacola to craft its first-ever strategic plan; he collaborated with Downtown Houston+ to remake the district's public realm; and he's teamed with the City of Boston to develop an open space framework that integrates publicly and privately created spaces. He holds a Master in Urban Planning with distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
