Brett Merriam is a project manager and urban strategist at Gehl, where he weaves together his expertise in ethnography, planning, and design. His experience spans across disciplines and scales from global strategies for equitable community development to site-specific urban transformations. Most recently, Brett has worked with the City of Pensacola to craft its first ever 10-year strategic plan, and he is collaborating with Downtown Houston+ to remake the district's public realm as a comfortable place for people over cars. He holds a Master in Urban Planning with distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
