Richie Blink operates Delta Discovery, an ecotourism and charter boat company in the Mississippi River Delta. He has spent a lifetime on Louisiana's bayous studying its wetlands, people, and economy. Growing up on his family's shrimp boat and witnessing coastal land loss firsthand, he started organizing guerrilla restoration projects between shifts offshore. He was a recipient of the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana's Stewardship Award in 2019. He has served on the Plaquemines Parish Council and served as the Chairman of the Plaquemines Port, Harbor, and Terminal District. Blink holds a 100-ton master's license and is a Louisiana Master Naturalist.
