Taya Fontenette, B.S. is the Policy and Research Coordinator at The Water Collaborative of Greater New Orleans and a Master of Public Administration candidate at Northeastern University, where she is also pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy Analysis. In this role, she leads water quality awareness efforts and has conducted two residential testing studies covering 250 homes across seven parishes, monitoring metals and PFAS contaminants. Her work bridges the gap between data and advocacy to ensure communities and decisionmakers are both informed and empowered.
