As CEO of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, Andy launched its Next 100 Years Challenge to fund great ideas for resilient infrastructure, raised and distributed tens of millions of dollars in response to the pandemic, George Floyd's murder, Hurricane Ida, and the New Year's Day terrorist attack, expanded the Foundation's leadership in workforce development, and led its initiative to build a robust, job creating and equitable BioDistrict.
Andy served as first deputy mayor for New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, was the founding executive director of the Louisiana Recovery Authority after Hurricane Katrina, and chief of staff to two Louisiana governors.
