Alexander Creem, WEDG, is a Project Director at NYCEDC. Combining backgrounds in infrastructure and design, Alexander has delivered projects focused on the sustainable development of communities globally. At NYCEDC, Alexander manages waterfront resiliency projects in environmental justice neighborhoods in South Brooklyn and the Far Rockaways, promoting accessible waterfronts through thoughtfully designed infrastructure and open space. Prior to the EDC, he was working in Cape Town, South Africa rebuilding informal settlements into secure, off-grid communities. Alexander holds a Master's in Architecture from the Pratt Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Environmental Studies from University of Southern California.
