Nicholas Dorian, Ph.D. is a pollinator scientist, ecological consultant, and educator. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Biology from Tufts University, where he founded the Tufts Pollinator Initiative. He consults with landscape architects and municipalities to develop evidence-based solutions to support biodiversity, improve green space, and build human-nature relationships. He also develops biodiversity monitoring programs for diverse landowners, including National Park Service. Currently, Nick is a researcher at the Chicago Botanic Garden where studies the role of designed spaces in pollinator conservation. He lectures widely, authors watchingbees.com, and teaches an annual course at Eagle Hill Institute on native bees.
