Jeremy Jungels is the Senior Director of Horticulture at The Horticultural Society of New York (The Hort), where he oversees design, planting, and maintenance of sites across NYC. This work focuses on the greening of busy public spaces, the in-between spaces throughout the city, connecting together larger green spaces. Among other collaborations, The Hort started the Pollinator Port Project with a research team at Rutgers University, testing bee habitats in public spaces throughout NYC. Jeremy has also worked in ecological research, has a master's degree in Wildlife and Conservation Ecology from NMSU and a master's in Horticulture from Cornell University.
