M’Closkey is associate professor in landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. She co-founded PEG office of landscape + architecture and Penn’s Environmental Modeling Lab (https://emlabupenn.com/). EMLab specializes in landscape modeling and remote sensing for the design and monitoring of coastal nature-based infrastructure. She co-authored Dynamic Patterns: Visualizing Landscapes in a Digital Age and is author of Unearthed: the Landscapes of Hargreaves Associates, which received the J.B. Jackson Book Award. She was co-curator and co-editor of the symposium and book Design with Nature Now (2019), and, since 2023, is editor in chief of LA+ Interdisciplinary Journal of Landscape Architecture.
