Herb's expertise lies in the integration of environmentally sustainable technologies and green infrastructure into landscape and urban design. He is the project team captain for MVVA’s Port Lands Flood Protection project, in Toronto, an unprecedented 168- acre meandering waterfront park that unlocks 600 acres from flood risk for redevelopment as new mixed-use neighborhoods. Herb has taken a leadership role on numerous other MVVA projects, including the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, TX, new US Embassy building in Mexico City, and the Asian Cultural Complex in South Korea. He is a BLA graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
