Originally from Southern California, Jordan Salinger earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado College and Master’s in Urban Planning from Columbia University. Before moving to New York, he worked at SPUR (San Francisco Planning and Urban Research), an urban policy think-tank. He then served as Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Robert Rodriguez where he focused on affordable housing and infrastructure. He currently helps to lead the Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency project at the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice. He also has focused on advancing the Climate Strong Communities program, an effort to deliver multi-hazard adaptation infrastructure projects across NYC.
