This tour highlights how community engagement informed built details, how a working waterfront can also serve as an ecological resource, and the essential keys to maintaining this unique coastal park.

  • Discuss how years of community engagement informed project programming, design decisions, and details seen in the park today.
  • Evaluate how traditional coastal shoreline protection was re-conceived to be a visually inviting, ecologically rich, and regionally unique amenity for the community.
