New for 2026, First Look is a pre-conference virtual event created to give attendees an additional opportunity to earn continuing education credits, explore ideas connected to this year’s conference theme, and build momentum before the in-person meeting in Los Angeles.

Built around the ASLA 2026 theme, Action! Design in Motion, Work in Progress, First Look features two education sessions, a preview of what’s ahead at the September conference, and an opportunity to start the conversation before arriving onsite.
