ASLA Legacy Project

The 2025 ASLA Legacy Project Committee will work with Waterwise Gulf South Collective, Greater Tremé Consortium, and Healthy Community Services to provide a Green Infrastructure Plan for the I-10 corridor between St Louis Street and Elysian Fields, in the Tremé / Lafitte and Seventh Ward neighborhoods, that analyzes previously collected data and community goals to identify and rank key sites within this corridor that are most suitable for a green infrastructure installation. The Committee will provide recommendations for the most suitable types of green infrastructure for each identified site. The Committee will assist Waterwise Gulf South Collective in working with the LaDOTD to determine what type of green infrastructure installation is possible within the North Claiborne Avenue right of way.
